Fairy Tail may be finished, but fans are still shipping their favorite would-be romances from the show. Characters such as Natsu and Lucy have been coupled together in fan fiction for years, but Hiro Mashima never made them a canon coupling. However, it seems that the designer of Fairy Tail has considered the relationship. After all, the artist only just shared a drawing of Natsu and Lucy's kid.

Mashima is now in the United States for the New York Comic Con, where he displayed the NaLu artwork. During a panel, a fan requested Mashima if he could depict Natsu and Lucy's kid, and he inquired whether they wanted a boy or a girl. When the audience decided that the heroes should have a daughter, the artist started to work. And, as you can see in the image below, the drawing is certainly worth a look. Natsu Dragneel, his wife Lucy Dragneel (previously Heartfilia), and their seven children make up the Dragneel family. Layla and Jude Heartfilia, Lucy Dragneel's mother and father, are both dead. Natsu's mother and father, whose names are unknown, died decades before he was sent to the future. He had an elder brother, Zeref Dragneel, who is now dead and reincarnated, and was subsequently adopted by Igneel, a dragon who is also now deceased, after his own resurrection. Nashi, their oldest child, is followed by Liddan, Layla, Jude, Mavis, Igneel, and Luna. Layla and Jude are named after Lucy's late parents, while Igneel is named after Natsu's adoptive father. Lucy Ashley (Rsh Ashur) is a Fairy Tail Guild member from Edolas. She is Lucy Heartfilia's Edolas counterpart. Lucy has brown eyes and blonde hair pulled back with a skull hair band. She wears a provocative black leotard with a wide erect collar that is visible in the front and is slashed to display her stomach and considerable cleavage. She wears a pair of tall thigh-high boots that look to be held up by thin overlapping belts instead of leggings. The leotard looks to be stylised, with a single metal shoulder guard on the right shoulder and a piece of white cloth flowing down to her knee tied to her right hip. She also has a beautiful black tattoo surrounding her upper left arm and wears a single white sleeve over her forearm. Her outfit has been somewhat adjusted in the anime to hide her exposed portions. She has also added a pair of knee-high boots to her wardrobe. Not long after meeting her counterpart, she trims her hair to make the two more distinguishable.
