Ladybugs thrive in a variety of environments, including meadows, woodlands, cities, suburbs, and beside rivers. The seven-spotted ladybug is native to Europe, but it was introduced to North America in the mid-1900s to decrease aphid numbers. Ladybugs are most active in the spring and autumn. When the weather turns cold, they seek a warm, isolated location to hibernate, such as rotting logs, beneath rocks, or even within homes. Thousands of ladybugs may be found in these hibernation colonies. When bugs started devouring their crops, European farmers prayed to the Virgin Mary, giving rise to the term "ladybug." Farmers dubbed ladybugs "beetles of Our Lady" when they arrived and cleared away the invading insects. This was ultimately abbreviated to "lady beetle" and "ladybug." NASA also sent a few ladybugs into space alongside aphids to observe how the aphids would fare in zero gravity.
Gabriel comes out as a cold, gruff, and stern guy. He is very protective of his son Adrien, having raised him at home for the most of his childhood despite having a distant connection with him. Despite this, he can be courteous and compassionate at times, particularly when acting professionally. Adrien is a changed guy, according to Adrien in "Adrien's Double Life," after his wife's abduction. He misses his wife terribly, and he needs to be reminded from time to time that his kid is also in mourning. While he appears to genuinely care for Adrien, it is often in a possessive manner, with Gabriel not wanting anything bad to happen to him and making executive decisions about how to keep his son safe without considering how he may feel, such as in "The Bubbler," when he unjustly deems Nino Lahiffe a bad influence for Adrien and forbids him from ever returning to his home. He also despises accepting instructions from anybody, including those who are attempting to aid and protect him, such as Ladybug and Cat Noir. Characteristics of a Villain
