Despite her newness to plus size fashion art, Norwood has been sketching for as long as she can remember. She won her first art competition in kindergarten, and when it came time to choose a profession, she enrolled at a small community college in her hometown of New Orleans, where she studied painting until Hurricane Katrina struck in August of 2005. Katrina not only wrecked Norwood's college, but it also forced her to leave her home for months. âWe were gone from August to October,â Norwood explains. My home was not flooded, but the roof was blown off. Our property was invaded by a full-grown tree from down the street. It was a wilderness; I still get goosebumps thinking about it.â
âI've always enjoyed overweight females and was also prejudiced towards them. âI discovered painting as a method to show the world that a large lady is a regular woman, equally as lovely as the rest,â the artist told Bored Panda. Eduardo has established his fantasy plus size society where everyone is accepted by putting overweight ladies in the limelight via his paintings and pictures. He has been taking commissions from ladies all around the globe and has amassed a large collection of artworks that honor the curvaceous form and the beauty of women.
