Muichiro appears to forget things all the time, and his mind is always wandering. He does not allow his emotions to rule him, and his decisions are founded on reasoning. Prior to his twin brother's death, though, he had a far more loving nature, displaying compassion and generosity. Muichiro loses his memory and becomes docile when his sibling is slain by a Demon. After his memories returned, he began to express his emotions more openly, enabling himself to portray a wider range of emotions.

Appearance
Muichiro was a 14-year-old child at the time of his death, and he had the young look that goes with that age group. His mint-green eyes were wide and vacuous, and he had a very pale skin. Tanjiro assumed he was physically weak since he was small and had a delicate body. Muichiro's black hair was long and straight, fading to light turquoise around his waist. Muichiro kept his hair completely loose, in line with his whole image. Two clumps of hair protruded from either side of his head, and two strands of hair left down to frame his face were just shorter than the hair at his back. Finally, Muichiro had untamed bangs over his brow.
